The Union Public Service Commission will hold the Combined Defence Service Examination (CDS) II 2016 for admission to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer Training Academy.
- Indian Military Academy: 150 posts
- Officers Training Academy, Chennai—106th 175 SSC Course (for Men) commencing in October, 2017: 175 Posts
- Officers Training Academy, Chennai—20th SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course commencing in October, 2017: 11 Posts
Qualification: Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
- Indian Naval Academy: 45 Posts
Qualification: Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution.
- Air Force Academy: 32 Posts
Qualification: Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Age (As on 01/07/17): 20 - 24 years
Fee: Rs. 200/- either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/ State Bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card. Female/ SC/ ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee.
