SIKKIM UNIVERSITY , a Central University located in peaceful and beautiful natural surroundings of Sikkim in Eastern Himalayan region, invites applications for appointment to the post of Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors in different Departments. Indian citizens having requisite qualification as per UGC norms with Master Degree in the concerned subject may apply in the prescribed form available in the website www.sikkimuniversity.ac.in on or before 17 th June 2013 .
Vacancy Details:

1. Professor : 27 posts, Pay Band Rs. 37400-67000 with AGP of Rs. 10000
2. Associate Professor : 55 posts, Pay Band Rs. 37400-67000 with AGP of Rs. 9000
3. Assistant Professor : 50 Pay Band Rs. 15600-39100 with AGP of Rs. 6000

Interested candidates may apply in the prescribed application form which may be downloaded from our website www.sikkimuniversity.ac.in duly supported with the attested copies of marksheets/certificates and completed in all respects along with other relevant documents addressed to: The Registrar, Sikkim University, 6th Mile, Samdur, P.O. Tadong, Gangtok- 737102 , Sikkim on or before 17th June 2013. 

Application Fee:The application should be accompanied with a processing fee of Rs. 300/- (Rs. 150/- for SC/ST/DA candidates) by Demand Draft, drawn in favour of Sikkim University by any authorized/nationalized bank and payable at their Gangtok Branch only
