The internships will be financially supported by the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal.Totally 30 internships will be provided.Students selected from eligible applicants, will havethe opportunity to work on research-based mini -projects under the mentorship of NITK faculty during the coming summer vacation (01June 2013 –15 July 2013).
Eligiblity: Students who are presently completing the third year (or sixth semester) B.Tech/ BE , and students completing the first year (or second semester) of M .Tech/ ME/ M.Sc. / MBA are eligible to apply for NITK - SIP.
Stipend:A stipend of Rs. 100 / - per day will be paid to each student during the contact period mentioned above . Allowance for food , at a rate decided by the Dean (R&C), will be provided separately.
