PTCUL is the State Power Transmission Utility (STU) responsible for building, operating and maintaining Transmission Substations and Lines at Extra High Voltages (EHV) of 132 KV, 220 KV, 400 KV & above.
PTCUL invites applications from eligible Indian nationals for the Asst Engineer (Trainee) posts
Qualification: Bachelors Degree or equivalent degree in Electrical ,Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication with 60 % marks or AMIE (Section A&B examination ) with equivalent grade. For SC/ST candidates only pass marks in qualifying examination for departmental candidates (PICUL)50 % marks or equivalent grade. Candidates should have through knowledge of Hindi.candidate who have appeared in the qualifying examinations may also apply provided they produce necessary qualifying certificates before the interview.

Age : Age should minimum 18 yrs and maximum 35 yrs as on 01-07-2011
Pay Scale : Rs 15600- 39100
Selection will be through Written Test
Application Fee : A crosses demand draft of Rs 400 only in case of general OBC Candidates and Rs 200 only in case of SC/ST candidates in favour of Managing Director, Power Transmission Corporation of Uttarakhand Ltd, Payable at Dehradun from a scheduled bank. Candidate must write his name on the back of the Demand Draft .
How to Apply:
Application in the prescribed format completed in all respects should reach by ordinary post latest by 26 th July 2011, Post Box No -012, Post Office Badarpur, New Delhi 110044. Application should be filled by the candidate in own handwriting in English CAPITAL LETTERS only on A4 size paper in the prescribed format enclosed, A recent passport size photograph self attested by candidate on front should be posted in the space provided on the application form and two identical passport size photographs should be retained by the candidate for future use.
