Rural Electrification Corporation Limited (REC), a NAVRATNA Central Public Sector Enterprise under Ministry of Power, was incorporated on July 25, 1969 under the Companies Act 1956. REC a listed Public Sector Enterprise Government of India with a net worth of Rs. 11,080 Crore as on 31.03.10. Its main objective is to finance and promote rural electrification projects all over the country. It provides financial assistance to State Electricity Boards, State Government Departments and Rural Electric Cooperatives for rural electrification projects as are sponsored by them.

Note: Candidates will be selected on the basis of average marks from these three public examinations. B.Tech. Degree holder from I.I.Ts will be given 10% and those from BITs Pilani/NITs will be given 5% additional marks to their Degree Marks.
Age : Should not be more than 27 years for Genl. 30 years for OBC and 32 years for SC candidates ( as on 1..2.2011 )
Pay Scale : Rs. 24900-50500

Names of shortlisted candidates will be put on REC website for Walk-in Selection on 18.03.2011. Only those candidates whose name appear on the REC website may report for walk-in-selection on 25.03.2011 at 10 am at our branch office i.e. REC Ltd. 3rd Floor Palika Bhawan, Sector 13, R.K. Puram, New Delhi 110066 along with a copy of their resume in the prescribed pro forma already sent by email, with one colored passport size photo graph and copies of relevant certificates ( original certificates should also be brought for scrutiny including caste certificates).
