Applications in the prescribed proforma appended hereto are hereby invited from the applicants, who are possessing qualification as detailed below as on the last date fixed for receipt of applications for recruitment to  

•  Stenographers :21 Posts( Which includes 7 Backlog posts for SC category + 2 Backlog posts for ST category)

Pay Scale: Rs. 8000-200-8600-225-9500-250-10500-300-12300-350- 14400-400-14800. 

Last Date: 9th September 2011

Qualification:

a.Must posses a Degree from a recognised university or equivalent Examination,
b. The Senior Grade Examination in English shorthand with 60% of aggregate marks; or the Proficiency Grade Examination in English Shorthand; and
c. Senior Grade Examination in Typewriting in English, conducted by the Department of Public Instruction of the Karnataka Secondary Education Board or equivalent qualification.
d. Certificate in Computer Word Processing or equivalent.

Application Fee: Indian Postal Order for Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty Only) in favour of the Registrar General, High Court of Karnataka, Bangalore 560001. No fee for SC/ST/CAT-1

How to Apply: Applications complete in all respects shall reach the Registrar General, High Court of Karnataka, High Court Buildings, Bangalore 560 001 on or before 9th September 2011 (5.00 P.M.). On top of the cover containing the application the following words shall be written: “Application for the Post of Stenographer"
