National Informatics Centre (NIC), a premier IT organization of Government of India invites young IT professionals to join its ranks to take up challenging assignment in the domain of e-Governance.In order to meet the increasing demands for providing technical services for Data Centres and related technology areas, NIC invites application from bright and committed Indian nationals with good academic background/records in the following technical position.
Scientific Officer/Engineer-SB (Programmer) (62 vacancies) in the pay scale of Rs. 9300-34800 (PB2) Grade Pay 4600 with usual allowances like DA, HRA etc. as per Government of India orders from time to time (Total emoluments Rs.33,439/-p.m. approximately in ‘A’ Class cities). The place of posting can be anywhere in the country.
Eligibility:B.E./ B.Tech/MCA with first class or minimum 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent and specialization in Computer Science/Computer related areas;
(or)
M.Sc in Computer Science with first class or at least 60% marks or equivalent;
(or)
Master’s degree in Physics/Maths/Statistics/Operation Research with either Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from a Govt. recognized institution/University or at least three years of experience in the areas indicated under Job Description is essential. The Master’s degree and should be with minimum 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade.
Selection process: Written test on September 4, 2011 followed by personal interview for selected.
